Kenneth J. Pagliughi joined the firm in 2022 as Of-Counsel focusing his practice on on insurance coverage, commercial transactions and general business legal management. He has a diverse background with extensive experience in contracts, general corporate, real estate, regulatory, insurance coverage and preventative law matters.
Prior to joing the Firm, from 2003 through 2020, Mr. Pagliughi served as the Associate General Counsel P&C Div. Northeast region for NFP (formerly BWD) one of the county’s largest privately held insurance brokerages. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Pagliughi served as an instructor at Hofstra University teaching a course on the legal environment of insurance. He has written two textbooks that were approved by the New York State Insurance Department for the continuing education of insurance brokers, as well as several articles on contract law and insurance regulatory issues.
Mr. Pagliughi obtained his Bachelor Degree from Adelphi University where he graduated with honors. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the St. John’s University School of Law and received the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from the American Institute of Insurance.
Mr. Pagliughi is admitted to practice before the New York State Bar -2005, the U.S. District Court Eastern District of New York and was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals 11th Circuit.
